{"id":6757,"date":"2021-08-31T12:33:22","date_gmt":"2021-08-31T12:33:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/m-path.io\/manual\/?post_type=ht_kb&#038;p=6757"},"modified":"2025-03-04T18:11:36","modified_gmt":"2025-03-04T18:11:36","slug":"scheduling-interactions","status":"publish","type":"ht_kb","link":"https:\/\/app-manual-wp-001-atfsdabuggg7fzdq.germanywestcentral-01.azurewebsites.net\/knowledge-base\/scheduling-interactions\/","title":{"rendered":"Scheduling interactions"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scheduling a questionnaire<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We will now demonstrate how to schedule a questionnaire three times a day (at 10 AM, at 2 PM and at 4 PM) for the following two weeks, starting at Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"manually-fill-in-schedule\">Manually fill in schedule<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To schedule individual notifications, click on the calendar around the time you want them to be sent. You can drag and drop the time boxes and adjust the <a href=\"\/knowledge-base\/beep-properties\/\">beep properties<\/a> by clicking on a box.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Schedule_manually.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"automatically-fill-in-schedule\">Automatically fill in schedule<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of manually filling in each day, you can choose to fill in the schedule by extending the last day (that you have just created). Click on&nbsp;&nbsp;fill, choose&nbsp;<em>Extend last day<\/em>, and indicate the number of days to be filled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video controls src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/08\/Schedule_auto.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"use-a-client-template\">Use a protocol<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If you are interested in using the same schedule for multiple clients, you can make use of a protocol. You can think of a protocol as a schedule for a fictional client that you can later copy to different real clients. Protocols exist of a combination of interactions\/questionnaires and a schedule. However, the use of a protocols is rather complex and is therefore explained in <a href=\"\/knowledge-base\/protocols\/\">a separate article about protocols<\/a>  .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">Creating and using protocols are <strong><a href=\"\/knowledge-base\/subscriptions-and-billing\/\">premium<\/a> <\/strong>functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-outline is-style-outline--1\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-color wp-element-button\" href=\"\/knowledge-base\/protocols\/\" style=\"color:#03a9f3\">Learn more about protocols<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Randomisation<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want your notifications to be sent out at random times, you can check the <em>Randomisation<\/em> box in <em><a href=\"\/knowledge-base\/beep-properties\/\">Beep properties<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>E.g. you want to send your client 10 notifications per day at random times (between 9 AM and 7 PM). Therefore it is a good practice to leave some space between two random blocks. For example, create a random block from 09:00 tot 09:50 and the next from 10:00 tot 10:50. If necessary, you can vary the place of the gaps over days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scheduling an applet<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>For an applet you normally do not send notifications, so you do not have to schedule applets. Clients use an applet whenever they need to use it. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ask your client&#8217;s permission to add an applet, you could just send a notification, a text screen or a conditional question.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Notification<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>When you add an applet and you click on <a href=\"\/knowledge-base\/add-applet\/#install-applet\"><em>Install as applet<\/em><\/a> your clients will receive a notification and can add the applet to their home screen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Text screen<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You can announce the adding of an applet to a client by means of a text screen. You do this by making use of <a href=\"\/knowledge-base\/conditional-question\/\">a conditional question<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this example we will be using a conditional slider question and two applets, one for clients with a lot of stress (Applet 1) and one for clients with not that much stress (Applet 2).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Add a (slider) question <em>(E.g. &#8216;how often do you experience stress&#8217;)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on the upside down arrow next to the question<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>go to advanced and click on <em>Add applet<\/em> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chose for which answers you want to use &#8216;Applet 1&#8217; <em>(E.g. for answer 4 &#8211; 10, we will use &#8216;Applet 1&#8217; = stress)<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to advanced and click on once more on <em>Add applet<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Chose for which answers you want to use &#8216;Applet 2&#8217; 3).<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Follow up item<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>A follow up item is an item that automatically follows x minutes after a client has answered a previous question. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Example <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You send a client a notification and you want the client to answer another (follow up) notification 10 minutes after the last one.<br><br><em>&#8211;
