It allows you to test interactions you&#8217;ve created. If the client account on your phone is the first one you&#8217;ve added to your dashboard, it will automatically be configured as the test device. If the client account on your phone is not the first one you&#8217;ve added to your dashboard, you can still configure it here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\"><meta charset=\"utf-8\">If you do not want the data that is collected in this device to mix up with the data of your participants, you can archive this device but still test everything on it without having the mock data in your dataset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Enable two factor authentication<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>With 2-factor authentication,&nbsp;an extra layer of security is added to your account to prevent someone from logging in, even if they have your password. The <strong>researcher dashboard<\/strong> is the one this manual describes, while the <strong>practitioner dashboard<\/strong> features a more simplified straightforward interface with usability as the main design motivator.<strong> <\/strong>Select <strong>Based on subscription<\/strong> if you have access to in-development features that the main dashboard doesn&#8217;t contain yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here, you can also opt-in for beta versions of the dashboard, where you will get early access to features that might still be slightly unstable or undocumented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-info\">If you change this setting, please log out and in again to switch your dashboard<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Change back to the researcher dashboard<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you changed your dashboard to the practitioner dashboard, it is easy to switch back to the researcher dashboard. To do so follow the next steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open settings screen in the practitioner dashboard by clicking on your initials and code on the bottom left (see image)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click on dashboard to open dashboard settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose dashboard for practitioners and click update.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Log out and log back in. When checking the first box, you allow clients to find you by using your code. When checking the second box, clients can also find you by searching your last name. Click &#8220;OK&#8221;, and the access rule will be added to the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Access Levels<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The access levels range from limited to complete access.<br><em>Always double-check who you grant access to, and at which level!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Read<\/strong>: The person can view information but cannot make any changes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Write<\/strong>: The person can view and edit information, but cannot delete anything.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Full<\/strong>: The person can view, edit, and delete information (if applicable).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Some also have these access rules:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Update<\/strong>: The person can view and update information, but cannot delete anything or create something new.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Create<\/strong>: The person can view, update and create something new.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Delete<\/strong>: The person can view, update, create something new and delete information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Areas You Can Grant Access To<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>All Clients<\/strong><br>Grants access to the complete list of your participants\/clients.<br>You can choose whether they have <em>Read<\/em>, <em>Write<\/em>, or <em>Full<\/em> access.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A Specific Active Client<\/strong><br>You can share access to a single participant\/client instead of all.<br>Again, you can choose the desired access level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Library<\/strong><br>You can share your library containing all your interactions and protocols.<br>Choose whether others can only use them (<em>Read<\/em>) or also make modifications to the questionnaires (<em>Write<\/em>) or even be able to delete your protocols and questionnaires (<em>Full<\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Access Rules<\/strong><br>If you want someone else to be able to manage access rights for others, you can grant that permission here. This has the alternative access rules: <em>Read<\/em>, <em>Update<\/em>, <em>Create<\/em> and <em>Delete<\/em>. Notice the difference with <em>Update<\/em> and <em>Create<\/em>, where a person could only update access rules with the first one but would also be able to make new access rules with the second one. Bear in mind that the person can only give access at the same level or lower than they are. They can&#8217;t give <em>Full<\/em> access to &#8220;All clients&#8221; if they themselves don&#8217;t have <em>Full<\/em> access to it.<br>\u26a0\ufe0f <em>Be very careful with this one, as it allows changes to others\u2019 access rights!<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Research Collaborator Profile<\/strong><br>This profile type is ideal for sharing your study with other researchers.<br>The chosen access level (<em>Read<\/em>, <em>Write<\/em>, <em>Full<\/em>) affects:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Protocols<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your library<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The public library<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Participants\/clients<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>General Settings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They can also view your Profile settings and subscriptions, but cannot make changes to them (doesn&#8217;t matter what access level you choose).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Practitioner Profile<\/strong><br>This profile type is useful for sharing with psychologists within the same practice.<br>They can view your protocols and subscriptions but cannot modify them.<br>You can also share your <strong>private library<\/strong>, which remains view-only.<br>Participants are <strong>not shared<\/strong> automatically, but you can still share specific participants if needed. You can&#8217;t choose the access level for this profile, it&#8217;s always <em>Read<\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Specific Protocol<\/strong><br>If you want to share just one protocol, you can do that directly here.<br>This way, you don\u2019t need to grant access to your entire library or make the protocol public.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to give maximal access, you should add the \u2018research collaborator profile\u2019 rule and set the Access rights to &#8216;full&#8217; once the rule appears in the list.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accessing another account<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Once some level of access is given to another m-Path account, they will be able to go to your account:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>First the researcher needs to log into their own m-Path account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In the top left corner the researcher now can click on the map icon (see image below) <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The researcher can now choose the project they want to to open<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"244\" height=\"236\" src=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11329\" srcset=\"\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image.png 244w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-50x48.png 50w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-60x58.png 60w, \/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/image-100x97.png 100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 244px) 100vw, 244px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\">You can give one person access to as many areas as you want, there is <strong>no limit<\/strong>.<br>However, if there are <strong>conflicting permissions<\/strong>, the person will receive the <strong>highest level of access<\/strong> that is given to a certain area.<br><br><em>Example:<\/em><br>If you give someone <em>Read<\/em> access to \u201cAll Clients\u201d but also assign them a &#8220;Research Collaborator profile&#8221; with <em>Write<\/em> access (which includes client data), that person will be able to <strong>view and edit<\/strong> all participants, even though \u201cAll Clients\u201d was set to only <em>Read<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Upload<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-ht-blocks-messages wp-block-hb-message wp-block-hb-message--withicon is-style-alert\">This feature is only available when you have <a href=\"https:\/\/manual.m-path.io\/knowledge-base\/full-sensing-vs-sensing-lite-which-do-you-need\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/manual.m-path.io\/knowledge-base\/full-sensing-vs-sensing-lite-which-do-you-need\/\">mobile sensing lite or mobile sensing full feature<\/a> enabled.
